Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a therapeutic technique based on Traditional Chinese Medicine used as a complementary treatment for pain and various functional disorders of the body. It involves the insertion of sterile, single-use needles into specific points on the body, selected after an individualized assessment.
In our practice, we primarily work with distal acupuncture and Yamamoto’s YNSA (Yamamoto Scalp Acupuncture), an internationally recognized Japanese technique. Both methods allow us to treat different conditions without directly intervening on the affected area, promoting a respectful and minimally invasive approach.
This treatment is particularly useful for musculoskeletal conditions, acute and chronic pain, digestive disorders, and nervous system disorders, among others. Furthermore, it contributes to the body’s functional regulation and can be safely integrated with other healthcare treatments.
Each intervention is tailored to the patient’s needs, with the aim of reducing pain, improving functionality, and promoting recovery.
Craniosacral Therapy: The Upledger Method
Craniosacral Therapy is a manual technique of osteopathic origin based on the application of gentle and precise touch to assess and treat restrictions in the fascial system and the central nervous system.
Through non-invasive maneuvers, this therapy aims to release tissue tension, improve the mobility of body structures, and promote natural self-regulation mechanisms. It is indicated as a therapeutic complement for patients with persistent pain, muscle strain, somatic stress, and functional dysfunctions.
It is a safe, well-tolerated approach, suitable for patients who prefer manual therapies. The intervention is always performed after a prior assessment, adapting the technique to each individual’s clinical situation.
The goal is to optimize bodily balance, improve patient comfort, and support the recovery process.
