Andrea Train
Specialist in Women's Pelvic Health and Sports Physical Therapy
Andrea graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from the Rovira y Virgili University of Reus (Tarragona, Spain). Subsequently, he completed a Postgraduate Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at Gimbernat University in Barcelona.
After training in various physical therapy techniques, including neurodynamics, Andrea developed a keen interest in postural awareness. She practices Global Postural Re-Education (GPR) and specializes in women’s pelvic health. This specialty aims to improve the quality of life of women at any stage, especially during pregnancy and postpartum.
Andrea has undergone specific training in perineal physiotherapy to support patients during pregnancy and after childbirth. His expertise helps prevent and treat pelvic floor disorders such as urinary incontinence, prolapse, dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), vaginismus, pelvic pain and diastasis.
In addition to her physical therapy consultations, Andrea teaches rehabilitation sessions and therapeutic and functional exercise classes at the gym.
Andrea has worked with Jorge Espada in Gibraltar and Sotogrande for nine years. As a passionate physical therapist, she continues her training to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments for her patients, always with a personal touch.
