HD Ultrasound

HD Ultrasound

High-resolution ultrasound has become an essential tool in physical therapy to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal injuries. Its ability to visualize soft tissues allows accurate diagnosis of muscle tears, tendon ruptures and even assessment of the cortex of superficial bones, detecting fractures that may go undetected on traditional radiographs.

This technology is not only valuable for diagnosis, but also to assist in minimally invasive treatments. HD ultrasound improves the accuracy of techniques such as Percutaneous Intratissue Electrolysis (PIE) and neuromodulation, ensuring accurate and efficient application. In addition, it is essential in the assistance of infiltrations in traumatology, such as the administration of steroids, hyaluronic acid or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), optimizing the results of these procedures.

Continuous follow-up of the lesion is crucial to ensure complete healing, and ultrasound allows the evolution of the treatment to be monitored in detail. Our physiotherapists, with advanced training in Spain and England and more than 10 years of experience, use high-resolution ultrasound equipment to provide the highest quality assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of the injury.
